Do you mean better as in playable as in you owning the machine and playing it yourself.
Or do you mean player able, as in something completely different ?
If its the former i would definetly say the Extreme, although even thats not that a great machine. There is better machines to be had if you wanna buy one.

depends on what stake, and how recent they are. is it the traditional take off of Empires High Spirits?

Buy them all

If not Hi Spirits is really good. Plenty going on. It's still my longest serving machine in my games room. Must be about 2 years now I have owned it. Most others last about 4-6 months.

This one I think..

Used to like that machine. I went to Blackpool recently and played on it, managed to get £15 off the £5 jp repeater + afters.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of. Replaced the coin mech/DCE on one last year.
Good machine from the short play I had on it.

got a good machine with global hi spirits get it stuck on £25/30p and get it forced, can give some nice streaks like older globals could, shame global yoused to produce some wicked machines, but then went all flat profile with likes of reel good time and clones before they went to games media.
there was a clone of this machine (hi spirits) called tales of the unexpected which was wicked too, then there was cannobal run/cut throat cash, which were not quite as good, but still decent. Regarding the other machine the extreme didnt really play on many of the old epoch extremes, so dont know whether it gives a decent game. The only downside about your machines is the epoch system they run on, my current machine global pheonix knights is still working but starting to play up a bit, think the epoch is upto its usual tricks with blowing power supply's and leaking battery's.
fancy getting a games media machine next which I believe use eclipse tech is that any better?

Anyone used to play Global's How Big's Your Rock or Jiggin' In The Riggin'? They were good for streaking.

yeah they certainly were, put spotted dick in there too, thing was though they saved up for the big streak by playing awful for an eternity, would block on small amounts for ever, were some of the later epoch globals seemed to have a better balance in my opinion yes catch them after a £75-100 drop and your money would go quick but I seem to remember them still giving some decent play without streaking, the older globals like jiggin etc, seemed to be either going nuts streaking or completely on the suck

Yeah definetely, used to pay bugger all for ages and then streak lol. I've been getting a bit annoyed with jiggin' on the emulator for doing that actually! I used to play the £5/5p versions of both the machines, sometimes they could streak to £25/£30 on the £5 jp repeat.
Never played spotted dick, I'll have to give that one a go!

No streak, just decent gameplay. Plenty of low down features give good wins, hiddens true skill is toppable. Keep taking new boards via superhold until something decent is there within a few nudges for superhold. Jackpots or red 7s that way so many times.
I say no streak, I haven't had one on mine in 2 years
