I now have a list of things to do before its ready for release but all being well, the beta will be ready tonight / tomorrow.
I have tested it on a 2800+(1.6GHz) Sempron (256k cache) on skt 754 and it runs it fine.
This does make use of Direct3D so you must have a 3D enabled card to play it. If you only have integrated graphics then you may experience problems. There's not much I can do about that I'm afraid, however a gfx card is only £30 for a base model.
I haven't tested it in Vista either because I don't use Vista and the only person I know who has Vista only has 512MB ram and I don't have an hour to install it .
I will be hardcore programming today, it MAY be ready tonight but I'm not sure and anything could go wrong.
*BUT* you won't be disappointed...
Whatever happens, by 7pm Sunday at the latest you'll have release 1 Beta.
Oh and the editor is going in today, and if I can get it worked in (it worked in a simple test) lamp dimming will be supported although I don't know of a dimmed lamp game without a CHR.
It won't be a final editor and there'll be a lot to add to it as I add more features but you'll be able to see vaguely how its going to work.
Right I need to do some serious coding...
Back soon.

To be honest I started playing with the editor and it went really well. That I thought would take ages, but has come on in leaps and bounds.
It won't be exactly as I want it but I expect I could (and hopefully will) spend years doing updates here and there. Now all the basics are there its easier to change features now than later so the feedback will be usefull.
