here is a quick update on the ht6 w-i-p
. just started a quick classic to get to know the machine.( not the correct reel symbols as yet )
it runs perfect, and is the £4.80p version.
this will take a while as there is no rush to get it done
and there is a few guys going to be working on it
geting artwork ready.etc etc. Posted Image

Can't wait for this mate :-D and as everybody else has said you're the right man for the job :-) I want to see if it's anything like I remember as it seems that it's been forever since I have seen this machine.. After this one there is only the project machine with the disk reel in the middle I think (a fairground or something) missing for me then I'll be happy :-)

Thanks to all for this and I've seen adyb's glass scans - fantastic quality :-) gonna be good :-D

We seem to be fairly low on £4.80 roms, what a score.

Never seen / played this machine, can't wait to see what all the fuss is about.

Keep up the good work :)

I doubt that such a simple 'Lo-Tech' machine would require testers. It's not as if theres any hidden lamps or rare features that need activating lol.

I wouldn't go as far as to say 'mutts nuts'. Indeed, it was an entertaining game, but I think the significance here is it's one more machine to add to the Proconn tech that plenty of us quite like, and as you can tell, one or two people are quite excited about. And decent Proconn games are few and far between.

Also adding to the significance, is that it's been stated that the game is a £4.80 rom version. The game being pretty much in it's original incarnation, and how most of us remember the game best. I remember this game but it certainly wasn't the game of choice back in the arcades in the early 90's. But it sure was up there as first choice if my fave games were not in the arcade I was visiting. And lets face it, Proconn games in the early 90's really did stand out amongst the roost.

Proconn machines of this period are from the day where you got good value for money, a good game, not like the rip off crap that is around now.
