Empire Games - Pinball Nudger.
I've been using this layout as a test of the editor. There are a few issues I need to sort. The reels need the 3D effect applying. I need to add an offset to the reel editor screen, the option to reverse the spin. At the minute these have been hard coded. But shouldn't take too long to add that in, hopefully today.
Once I have completed that layout within FME-F without having to hard code it, I will then send that issue along to layout designers. The reels have been completely reworked.
I also need to fiddle with the alpha blending options to try and get the mix a bit better so that the colours look more vibrant when lit.
But so far this is what I have created. Those of you with a gfx card capable of Anti-Aliasing are in for a treat. The source art to this is complete poo but the AA has done a sterling job of making even one of my layouts look quite pukka.
Layouts are fully scalable to most screen resolutions (16:9 and 4:3).
The idea is that once the editor is complete I can then get on with a few emu fixes and be safe in the knowledge that it won't break existing layouts, which is why I have been holding back. As soon as the editor is fine I will start releasing publicly. From there on I can add extenders, CHR's and other stuff with more regular updates.
So here's to the first of many I hope.
