Hi all, just joined this site and very impressed with the wealth of info on here.
Im sure this question has been asked many times before, but does anyone know what a particular machine is called. Describe to the best of my abilities:
I believed it was called excalibur, although i have downloaded the version of here and its not the same. The only similarity is the circle in the middle of the board. The board was generally blue in colour, had a big circle with all the features on in the middle and you used to get chased by a witches head going round it. It had a jackpot repeat chance i think, they were very popular machines and common place in my local JG's amusements or at the rotunda domes on folkestone seafront. Prolly round late 90's. Im sure it was called Excalibur though or something very similar. Dont have a clue who made them. sry. Have been trying to track down this machine for a loooooooong time. Would bring back fond memories to see it again. Any help appreciated thx.

have a look in the flyers gallery , there is loads of images in there and you may find it. just a shame you don't know who the manu was as it would be an easier search.

Thx for help so far, i am checking flyers as we speak. I can remember its an old machine around the 90's era. I have also just remembered it had like a road hog auction feature, i think when the witch caught you, you had to haggle with the sword, something like that. Dunno if that helps. But thx for your quick replys, i keep refereshin the the forum to see if anyone can shed light on it.

Its 100% not the MDM version. Although similar with the main round circle part of the board. My machine was mainly blue.

Hi Turrican
I know the machine you mean. It was in the same cabinet as the MDM Excalibur, but with bluey-purple frames instead of red.
The machine you mention was made by BWB around 12 years ago. I don't remember that much about it to be honest. I think you had to light the letters of EXCALIBUR to get on the board, which went in a circle and which I don't think lapped. I think there was a reference to the Sword of Damocles in it somewhere, and there might have been some potions and a wizard in it somewhere aswell.
That's it really - there was one on 5p play/£4 cash jackpot in the Pavillion in Burnham-on-sea about 11 or 12 years back, but it's long gone.
I don't think it's emulated unfortunately, due to lack of resources for one (it was a fairly rare machine), and also because it was made by BWB and runs on MPU4, so there will be an emulator issue with the CHR.
Check Ebay regularly - you never know your luck, all sorts of game turn up when you least expect it

There was one in Brighton
3 swords for the board and a seperate trail that ended in Arthur getting the sword out. Gave a skillstop on the middle reel once for the 3r done which I missed lol
Wasnt there also a dragon square that meant lose?

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums
(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

I have managed to find the rom. It does exist. But its on a site i cant access.........Underground Gamer...... Need special invites!!!
It was released in a torrent file ages ago. They have all three MDM, NOVA and BWB the one i need. Seems to be the only place to get it from.

Yeah..the ROM is fine within itself..that merley makes the machine "run"..but without photos..reel images etc..no-one having a clue what the machine looks like..it would be very difficult to do a DX.
Sometimes layout designers have to make a classic layout from memory alone..and thats no mean feat.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

I was shocked at how many rom's there was(wonder how many work?)
I may try downloading the torrent later in the week unless someone else has it?
Edit: my mistake, bookmark said underground gamer but it was mininova http://www.mininova.org/det/427201
