Well I watched it and I though it was great...Mind you I'm a fan, always have been. Only downside was it should have been filmed before a live audience, makes it better IMO.

Overall, after a long time out a big success for me, here's to another 8 series hopefully

Same here , own S1 - 6 On VHS and 7 & 8 on DVD

but i dont like the fact they've just killed a Kochanski off, could of showed us how she died unless thats to come

What did everyone think of last night's installment?

I quite liked the first episode but wasn't too sure at all about last night. Why couldn't they just give us 3 episodes in the old style and complete the story, instead of all this League of Gentlemen nonsense? And yeah, Holly is missing although good to see the scutters.
