Downloaded and sweated more than Michael Jackson in a greenhouse full of kiddies when I tried to load this. I've had probs with Proconn before and all SPace games as I'm still running Win 98.

When I saw it load I nearly hit the roof. Thanks guys. Another absolute classic resurrected. Phoenix from the flames. Thanks to all concered. :)

Hi All

I have just rememberd the HTS I played up here were also all on £6.00 jackpot I never rememberd playing a £ 4.80 version, so the get 2 symbols and the 2 for Jackpot may have been alterd when the roms were updated to the New as it was then £6.00 Jackpot.

But I have to say having give this version some hammer yesterday it still gives good streaks and plays like I remeber, all though i beleve this ROM set is on 90% and I dont think any of the arcades round here would have been the generous when thay were out there in the wild.

Just a word of thanks to the members here who secured the resources for this game. Well done. One more machine returned from the depths of fruit machine history and something that does make these group buys such an important part of what is done here in the FME world. There was such dejection when it emerged the roms were duff but who'd have thought that the roms would have been found in such an unexpected way. A big thanks to Dave and his rom donation. Again, another very integral part of what we as a scene do. Lets hope the enthusiasm is still there to carry on doing group buys when we can bring stuff like this back to life for just a few quid here and there from the membership. It just goes to show what we can do as a scene when we put our minds to it.

Also, a big thanks to Ady. I'm surprised he didn't bin the resources once it emerged the roms were duff. Right up to the last minute with this layout, he was pestered for resources to make this game just that little bit more special. Without Ady, this most certainly would have been an opportunity missed, and we'd be probably lucky to have just the 'classic' version of this to play with. So a big thanks to you fella. A true FME gent who has always put the scene first over the dwindling space down his house lol.

Finally, cheers to 'Hit the Six' who decided to include me in this project. (pardon the pun lol). I'm sure he learnt one or two things here and there to help better his DX-ing skills in the future. Cheers mate for tolerating me as I can be inadvertantly patronising sometimes. Something I don't set out to do. :) Oh, and thanks for letting me be a small part of this.

Tony.

Not sure by how much you have hammerd it ? I have been hammering this and i have not had one streak yet. I have had jackpot hold once a few times, Thats it tho. over 1000 through and its sitting on %82 paypout. So i cant see this streaking like the hit the six orignal used to.Ie £30 streaks at lowest. P.s still a cracking release tho. Thanks to everyone who made this happen.

Yeehaa!!! Read loads of threads about this on here, wondering how i could help, not seen the arcade owner i knew for a while because he has shut down. Not looked for new ROMs on here for a while, so searched HTSix again today and "BINGO"
Thanks to everybody who helped get this up and running as i`ve read the disappointments that kept cropping up along the way.

THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Hi

Good work guys the only thing differnat on this verson to the ones i used to play up here in sunny teesside and the last one i played in South Sheilds, is when you get the 2 symbols and the 2 on the middle, the machine would go straight up to the 6 for the jackpot and it was not a skill stop thing as it seems to be on this ROM set.

Allthough I dont know if this was may be swicherble as to the way it worked.

Now on the repo also and following more work and the insertion of a new ide cable all now seems to be ok.

Now i am off back to shuve some vertual pounds into HTS (the machine that is not our HTS lol)

Cliff C

Yes, same as the ones i played in Notts as well "2+a pair=jackpot"
Also there where no hints nudge after hold.
Still no complaints,
Just great to play again,

Dink
