here we have one of the classics of all time a project coin machine called hitthesix.
a masssive thanks got to first of all the group buy for the original machine, ADY DB £6.IN TOKENS TTX, AND THE GUYS FROM THE MECCA
althought the roms were knackered, the still managed to get the artwork and glass scans saved., which was a big bonus, as the roms were kindly supplied by an arcade owner.this guy (treasure island) here is his arcade, and iif you are ever in i-o-w you must go visit and play the old classics.

REELFRUITS.COM home page

so a massive thanks to him(dave) also to ttx for dumping the roms
and uploading them.
and finally thanks to SPA and COMPOST CORNER for all their help on this
me tips my hat off to all the guys involved in this.
THIS is what fme is all about.

PLEASE NOTE it ONLY runs in 3.2

Thanks to HitTheSix and Compost for a fantastic layout of my favorite game, which you have done justice. Also thank you Ady, Tris & The Meeca.

Absolutly chuffed to bits with this, really is a brilliant, top notch release.

Excellent job, guys! Just goes to show what can be done when everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet! Another classic saved for eternity. Or, until Wednesday at the very least! :D

A big thank you to all concerned in saving this machine. :)

Hi

Good work guys the only thing differnat on this verson to the ones i used to play up here in sunny teesside and the last one i played in South Sheilds, is when you get the 2 symbols and the 2 on the middle, the machine would go straight up to the 6 for the jackpot and it was not a skill stop thing as it seems to be on this ROM set.

Allthough I dont know if this was may be swicherble as to the way it worked.

Now on the repo also and following more work and the insertion of a new ide cable all now seems to be ok.

Now i am off back to shuve some vertual pounds into HTS (the machine that is not our HTS lol)

Superb release guys - cheers for this.

I've only played it a few of times in the wild, but I'll give this a good bashing.

Brilliant to see it again - at last!!

Thanks to all involved.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

The only tip I still remember was holding any Hit the Six jackpot symbol on the winline. The same spin would give a single nudge that can be used as an up nudge. So before pressing START, check to see if theres another Hit the Six symbol on the top line and the bottom line. Remember, 2 Hit the Six symbols on the winline pays double what 3 of the final symbol on the winline would pay.

Also, not sure if anyone has experienced this, but a 2 in the centre, and Hit the Six at either side pays straight jackpot.

I'm sure theres other tips that will be posted but these are the simple ones I remember.
