[£6 In Tokens]

The only tip I still remember was holding any Hit the Six jackpot symbol on the winline. The same spin would give a single nudge that can be used as an up nudge. So before pressing START, check to see if theres another Hit the Six symbol on the top line and the bottom line. Remember, 2 Hit the Six symbols on the winline pays double what 3 of the final symbol on the winline would pay.

Also, not sure if anyone has experienced this, but a 2 in the centre, and Hit the Six at either side pays straight jackpot.

I'm sure theres other tips that will be posted but these are the simple ones I remember.

The only difference is that on the old roms you could nudge in a low win and hold the highest for that win, and a number 2 with two matching symbols is a guaranteed jackpot, that is the only difference between the 2.

This is a new expreiance for me all the ones up here would only hit the 6 if you had the 2 and 2 matching symbols, the machine did not do anything if you had 2 non matching symbols and the as happend with this ROM and as you rightly said it was a Jackpot every time no matter what the pair was.

This is a whole new HTS playing expreiance for me lol.

A new experience for me too - I wondered what was going on when I got 7-2-7 and no Jackpot. I have never seen this set of ROMs either. Can be frustrating not getting it on the "6" when you have a Hit the Six with a 2, but great to play it again all the same!!

Thanks, all the fuss was not in vain it seems. Quite an enjoyable, varied machine and I'm no fan of lo-techs in general.

Can someone tell me what the Super Cherrys do?

Also very interesting how the HT6 symbols act as a wild. That number 2 symbol on the central reel is definitely a precursor to the bonus centre reel symbol used by Maygay and others.

This one is certainly playing a completely different game from the HTS I used to play in my old arcade and others.

There is an actual skill to 'hit the six' in this rom play, whereas before if you got two matching outer symbols and the '2' in the middle it was a guaranteed jackpot. Also you could hold the third reel if the number '2' was on the win line to be guaranteed that win, but this one certainly doesn't play like that.

However, we have Hit The Six released - and what a wonderful wait it has been for this machine to surface. It was one of the glory of Project Coin's fruit machines and now I can actually play it on my PC - albeit in a totally different gameplay from the roms that we were used to years ago - but it is still great!

A big thank you to everyone involved to getting this emulated and released - I am genuinely in admiration for all those that have taken part in getting this released - it brings back happy memories from a 'golden oldie'!

What can I say?

Downloaded and sweated more than Michael Jackson in a greenhouse full of kiddies when I tried to load this. I've had probs with Proconn before and all SPace games as I'm still running Win 98.

When I saw it load I nearly hit the roof. Thanks guys. Another absolute classic resurrected. Phoenix from the flames. Thanks to all concered.
