Top Dog is the better one out of all the clones, usually rolls for £75+. To get a quicker play for let em spins on mixed bars and ry and get a setup for golden hold two up, two down.

It is possible to squeze a fair bit out of these ( depending if they are getting forced by the locals obviously )
Big cheese yesterday i managed a jp off golden hold, next board flash.Next board -NO FLASH but £10 off shots.Following board flashed giving a £90 streak in total.
Rare, but fun !

why would you take a £10 board after a jackpot? the fact that you collected 10 and then a jp means that it was streaking and you were lucky.
top dog is a newer bread (imho) of barcrests that can hide the possibilities of an invincible, when you think its ready it can go on and on and on, and then a jackpot, leaving an invincible board nowhere. remember, just coz u get a jackpot, dont mean a streak has started (although this IS the way one is triggered) always push for the next 2nd or 3rd board and see if its a flashing board. ive had a jackpot on the next board before, but that board took 7 quid to achieve.

I always collect wins after jp on the next few boards, £2-3 repeaters it doesn't seem to affect the payout cycle if its on a roll. It just builds the bank up abit it will flash 4 boards later after collecting £12 or so. Then repeat or flash a few more boards later. But then again if it was on a roll and you collected a large win such as £10 it can kill the next jackpot but it looks like you were lucky.

Nails, There was no luck about it.The machine was clearly streaking in the first place by offering a flash after a 1st jp.The fact it didnt flash a 2nd time suggested to me it didnt have another jp in the streak pot. This was untrue as the following board flashed.
Fact- an I.M board after a jp on a Barcrest means the machine is streaking.Doesnt always mean its going for more the £50 though.(Monty python,Big Brother ???)
I wouldnt imagine Top Dog is a different breed of Barcrest considering they are clones realeased practically similtaniously.Whats the difference really ??

the fact that the machine was streaking made no difference to how much you collected, as the machine had already made up it mind as to how much it wanted to payout.
i guess the point i was trying to make, was that if a machine say, was ready to do 2 x 25 jp, and to took the first, but then took 10 quid, it would not give you the 2nd jackpot. thats why i, personally, play upto 3 board to see if it flashes, not a true streak, a true streak is usually over within only a handfull of credits, jp jp im jp etc.
as for profiles, they have changed dramatically. some machines, like top dog, can take ages to force, giving you 10 quid on the top shot, 16 nudges etc, and make you think its due. it could take another 25 quid onto of that for a jackpot, even then it wont repeat or im after. (imho)

I was meant to get Top Dog installed today, but apparently the glass had broke, so they gave us back Note Runner (which we had taken out of the pub about 4 months ago).
Also got Two Towers installed, which I gather isn't a favourite!
