so the previous owners say yes.... u can put money in it and it plays but when you use your credits and press start it plays in test mode. dont help with the display saying @@@@@@@@ all the time

Well for a start it has been fixed in free play by the sound of it...

It shouldn't go straight into demo mode when out of credit.
Sounds like a dip switch setting.
