its a good idea to say either which manufacturer or machine name u got.
but either way it sounds the battery is knackered the way to test is insert £1 and don't play the creds switch off the machine for about a minute and if the creds vanish when machine is switched back on then it means the battery if fooked

the fruit machine is show time spectacular, i think it's BFM. when i put £1 in the machine it doesn't even give you credits. where do i find the battery? i have no idea about fruit machines, it's the first one i've had

the battery is on the main board scorp 2 i believe, i'm sure its a blue nicad battery
if its not crediting when u insert a coin then its another problem u got. its either not connected to the coin mech or the mech is knackered

your machine keeps losing its memory which is causing both errors.
switch the machine off and look at the board thats attached to the inside of the backdoor.
on this board is a small blue or green varta battery.
this will be dead.
you either need to replace this with a new battery or the easier way if you are not sure with soldering is to try and get a replacement scorpion 2 board.

You will find it difficult to get a good one. Scorpion 2 seems to be the most difficult to find at the moment.
