Hi, i have just got a barcrest mpu5 cliffhanger machine. It is stuck on freeplay. I have adjusted the bank 1 and bank 2 switches, tried to reset using the refill key nothing seems to work. Can anyone out there please tell me how to get this machine off of free play and back to normal. It continually shows I have 12.50 in the reel. Lets me play till finished then resets at 12.50 again. Please if anyone can help.

Baz.....again a blinding reply!
I know diddly-squat about the real machines.....
As you are aware I have a Club Crazy Fruits that is a runner NOW (when you said check the game card I thought WHAT!!!!!! as if -- can't be that easy!!....but that's what it was!).....
Since then it kept giving me 50p on hitting the start....and reading this hits home!
My problem?............when I drilled the locks I knocked the cash draw switch and it wasn't 'true' to the door hence making the machine think its open...Tractorman0405, its a possible mate happened on mine.

Also bear in mind that some (possibly misguided) people will wire the switch backwards, or even alter the wiring, so that the machine is always in freeplay even with the doors shut!
