OK, it appears to be browser specific. If I try it on Mozilla Firebird it opens and downloads straight away. If I try it on IE it pauses for 20 seconds and then starts, and sometimes it doesn't start at all!

.....hum.....hum.....bollocks!

Ok What i have done so far today....

You can click a button and the fruit reels spin :p
Cash trail turns on and off correctly
Button graphics are loaded from the *.FCK file

What i am working on now...
Load buttons position and size from *.fck file.
Load Reel Bands from *.fck file.

Once i have done that i will remove the horrid windows buttons and use the graphical ones.

I am at the stage now where i could do with some help. Is it possible anyone wants to try and do a DX of machine??? If so can you add me to your MSN (Barcrest@hotmail.com) so i can send you builds and you can request features to help you get your machine working. If i can't get one machine working soon i fear i might get bored :D

BIG NEWS

It now plays a very basic fruity. It comes with one called basic test bundled with it...

How To Use It (Quickly)
Click START graphic, The reels spin.
When it has spun the number of times as stated in the OFFER FEATURE EVERY drop down box, it will put you in the feature.
Gamble or collect and repeat process...

As you can see it's very primative, but it does play now. I had to turn off the button flashng as for some reason it messes up the mouse clicks on the button?? Anyhow have a play guys and let me know what you think.

Not meaning to sound rude but whats the whole project in aid of?

I.E is it just fun for you, or will it be linked to actual FME in due course? If it could emulate Astra's I think i'd actually cream my pants LOL

When you unzip it make sure you let it create the folders... If you are using winzip then tick the use folder names box.

The new reel mechanics are in behind the scenes ready for the next release later today.

This means....
You can have reels with up to 30 itmes on them.
Each item has it's own value from 1 - 24 corrisponding to the cash trail value.
You start at the right place on the cash trail, following a win.

What i am working on....
Adding some missing preference valuse to the .FCK file such as,
Coins In, Coins Out and Percentage Setting

Once i have added thoose i will make another release. One thing I ask and it's not much, if anyone is working on a machine for this can you please post something or get in touch. I need to know what people are working on so I know what to add next. I say this because i would rather work on adding stuff to get machines up and running rather than you guys having to wait until i get around to it. :D

Catch you later... The release will be on here by no later than 3

Cheers RB...

Before anyone posts, 2 Bugs Found and Fixed.
The Gamble now ends when you hit the jackpot. I noticed it was carrying on one more step?
When switching gamble type to turbo gamble it isn't enabled until a win.

That is if anyone had noticed them :p

I may not get much chance to work on this until monday so I will post up a version with the very basics of a feature board trail. As it stands now all you will be able to do to it is add your own decals and position them, but by the time you have got around to doing that i will have the code in there to make it work :D

Here it is the latest build to play with over the weekend.

What's new...
Lots of bug fixes.
Basic Feature Board loading. (Up to 16 decals).
Turn Feature Board on/off depending if selected.
More options in the FCK file added.
Probably more bugs added.

What's next...
Up to 100 Decals for feature board.
Read feature board positions from FCK file
Bug Fixes.

Then What's Next...
Add Code For Bonus on Hi/Lo Reel.
Add Code For ? On feature trail.
Activate feature trail code.
Make reel wins spin in on % rather than OFFER FEATURE PER value.
Make OFFER FEATURE PER value activate the board not spin a win.
Add 5 liner win code.

Then sit back and wait for you guys to request something LOL :D

Have a good weekend guys
Barry Barcrest

P.S. Anyone any good at doing manuals? I'm not but i'll explain everything to somebody who is if they would like to do one.

This is an update to the one above so extract this over the top...

YOU WILL NEED THE ABOVE FILE AS WELL

What's new...
When you get on the cash trail you can press exchange to swap to the feature board.

NOTE:In this test it's all +1 Cash but you can see it in action now. I'm quite happy with it. C1,C2,C3 are enabled values for the .FCK value and are +1,+2,+3 cash respectively.

I did this as a patch to the last one to save on space on this sever... Obviously any problems then drop me a mail.

You need the MCI32.OCX file and it needs to be registered... I am going to post a new version up in the next 5 minutes with the basic reel editor added and the start of proper loading and saving in..

Do a search for that OCX it should be a standard windows file.

You can load differnt machines in whilst it's running.
Reel Editor is in and about 30% working.
Fixed several Bugs to make way for the reel editor.
Added Revision File.

What i am working on...
Getting the Save to work fully.
Getting the Reel editor working correctly. (You can edit the .FCK directly)
