Just Been Given A Old Machine Turned It On And Its Saying Err0r 5.5 Which Is Invalid Mode Of Play!
Tried Changing The The Stakes But Hasnt Done Anything!
Not Really Sure What To Do As Dont Have A Service Manual Or To Be Honest A Clue!!
Any Help Would Be Great.

If you have tryed other pop keys and still getting the message then impact is up the wall

Machines will only let certain price of play be used with certain Jackpot amounts.

For example

You can only use 25p play with £15/£25 Jackpot, but not with £5 Jackpot
And you can only use 5p/10p with £5 Jackpot
(For example)

Is there any chance that when you say "Old" you're talking about this version of "Pot Of Gold"? It would be fantastic if it was as I believe the FME scene hasn't got the roms for this one yet!

Yes, I had my doubts too Graham but as you say "we live in hope". 'twould be great if the roms did surface as I've got a pristine set of glasses for this machine just waiting to be scanned when necessary !
