Done what you suggested and here is my latest speedtest.Been simular results all week so must have settled down.
No loss of connection and good follow up from Talktalk, very happy indeed.Would recommend to anyone.:D

Seams a good enough speed that, but would depend on how far you are from the exchange.

You can use the following site to see where your local exchange is, and check what services you can get from it: Samknows Broadband - Comprehensive Broadband Information

EG here from my local exchange: http://www.samknows....xchange/EMBEEST

One thing to watch right now for all who use ADSL services, is the 21CN WBC and 21CN PSTN dates are at your local exchange. More info on 21 CN here: http://www.samknows....cn_overview.php

With sky 36quid a month gets me all the free channels, film channels, line rental, free calls any time to any uk landline, one free overseas landline and 8meg 40gig broadband

You can reduce the above services to make it cheaper but for what you get i think its very good value

We have gone down this avenue to try and save some money, with me not working.Sounds a nice package but will have to wait until I am in full time employment.
Have to stick with the Freeview for now:bigeyes06:

Received a bank statement and don't usually bother looking how much I have spent, but decided to do so for once.To my horror I found that I am now paying both TalkTalk and Tiscali for my internet:bigeyes13:.
Rang TalkTalk to give them a bollocking as they said they would sort everything out for me.I then rang Tiscali and they were unaware that I have changed ISP's,so I have been goosed, big time.
Gave Tiscali another call and they said to send them a copy of my welcome letter from TalkTalk before any monies owed can be paid back to me.
TalkTalk were happy taking my agreement but didn't follow through with the more important stuff imo.Either that or Tiscali are trying to play me for a twat and in effect robbing me for a service I do not use.
Lets just say I'm not happy!
