It seems the ones on the scorp 5 tech are still about £500-£600 but the ones on scorp 4 and maygay tech are cheap, other sellers when selling these machines about a month ago for about £100 so wouldnt say £75 is too suspicious. Have bought from this seller before had no trouble with machine, did part trade ins too, so all well

I would agree that it's unlikely to be anything dodgy; other than my suspicion that these are Epoch machines rather than Eclipse.
It will be interesting to see what tech it is when you get it, I will happily be proven wrong!

The truth is they are all ex leisure link stock that have done the rounds, since they were taken over by g-tec (corrent me if im wrong) there was alot of surplus stock and voiala, they have popped up on ebay. good luck to him (Brian).
i have to confess ive also purchased an invincible and a billy ther quid with note acceptors for £75 each. When they arrived he offered me a warped (not my best machine) but for £50 for a 35jp machine with a note acceptor i grabbed it. Brian even threw in a replacement motherboard.
personally i would say his aftersales service is bang on.

Some very interesting information guys there, thanks! If the machine runs on Epoch rather than Eclipse, would that make much of a difference? I mean, the game would still play in the same way, wouldn't it?
I can take some photos for someone to identify the tech, if its not instantly obvious when I open the machine.
I spoke to Brian when he confirmed delivery day for my machine, and he seemed a decent chap, no probs at all.
As long as the machine (including note acceptor - a big reason I got the machine) work properly, i'll be happy :-))
If I get bored of it, I can always part ex it and get something else from him!

Any machine in a bellfruirt cabinet will cost more, due to the re-sell value. In some cases the cabinet has been worth more the the distributors.

My Warped fruit machine arrived today, exactly as stated by Brian (From "Fruitmachines4u" on eBay) a week ago.
First impressions: Two youngish lads arrived (Brian and his colleague), and believe me they could not have been more helpful if they had tried! They delivered the machine, carried it up a flight of stairs, set it up, installed the note acceptor into the machine whilst here, and they would not let me do a thing to help!
Then, Brian went through the options on the machine, how to float it, how to dump the hopper, and he ran through a list of the other things the machine will do, and showed how to put it into test mode.
The machine itself: Works absolutely perfectly, the note acceptor works every time, as does the coin acceptor, All the buttons work correctly. The coins all route correctly, and the hopper works great. Every bulb in the machine works, and it has obviously been serviced before delivery. The absolute worst thing I can say is that the machine was a little dusty. However, I have some polish and a cloth, so it is totally not an issue, and believe me if that is the worst I can say (and it is!), then these guys proved they are top notch!
If you are looking to buy a fruit machine, these are the people to get it from.
Lovely blokes, VERY VERY helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and once everything was done, they wouldn't accept my £10 for taking it up five flights of stairs!! I was MORE than happy to give them this, but they would not accept it.
It is obvious that Brian is very knowledgable with regards fruit machines, as it took less than 2 minutes for him to fit the note acceptor, and upon turning the machine on, it said "7.2 comms error", which meant it just needed an update from flash card (which he did, putting the latest game software on the machine), and apparently I will never need to do this again.
So, on the basis of all of this, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
5 Stars!
Oh, if anyone is interested, it is on Eclipse technology :-)

I would say he went far and above what he was reasonably expected to do :-) I can barely even push the thing along a flat floor, but him and his mate were cheerily hoiking it up a flight of stairs!!
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in future!

I was on the verge of buying one too, untill he quoted me £120 for delivery ! Which would have been £195 in total , which kind of put me off. However i settled on a Space Raiders which got delivered today, cost me £160 in total inc delivery.
Not the bargain of the week but it'll do for me.

Ah that's good mate, hope you enjoy! Did you get it from Brian on eBay (fruitmachines4u), or somewhere else?

I didnt get it off Ebay, it got it from a supplier up here in Scotland.
Dealt with him before, seems decent.
Only slight problem i have is that its missing a good few bulbs were the aliens are , also there is a possiblity the machine was on 10p/£5 jp before i bought it as there is a gap on the glass were the over 18 sticker should be on a £25'er ( its a Barcrest logo on the £5'ers ).Its also missing its manual and the Horizon cabinet manual.
Apart from that its fine, although my only other complaint is that its on the latest rom, where you cant gamble the ?mark on a mystery, unlike the ones ive played were you can.Not really a complaint as such, more of a moan.

Money Magic is a good machine - its pretty much a reglass of warped, which is what I have. Plenty of features :-)

For various reasons, I have decided I'd like to swap my Lumina note acceptor currently in my machine for one of the NV type acceptors, on my Warped fruit machine.
Does anyone know if this is
1) Possible - i.e., will the machine support an NV note acceptor
2) Difficult - would it be a swap over job, plugging cables into the NV acceptor where I took them out from the Lumina?
3) I've attached a picture of the machine, along with the position of the current note acceptor... Can a stacker box be fitted along with the new NV note acceptor on this type of cabinet? I see there are certain stacker boxes which will fit in upwards, downwards, or what seems to be any particular configuration, so I wondered if I could angle it 45 degrees downwards into what is the current note chute, where the notes slide down after being accepted?
Cheers!

One for the techies me thinks...........
Anyway, whats wrong with the luminar Sharpy? I know most distributors have recalled them but i still thought they were up to the job of accepting notes ( many too many in some cases ) ?

Oh it definitely does the job, mine probably has an acceptance rate of about 99.8% I'm guessing.
However, the machine could never be sited, as the acceptor has a serious flaw and I'd end up losing a fortune!
Of course, the machine never will be sited, because its for home use anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
