Afternoon all,
Has anyone else noticed the number of cheap £35 machines on eBay at the moment? £75 + delivery, or even £99 with a note acceptor?
To be honest, I was quite tempted but sometimes the cheap price and large quantity of this type of machine for sale tends to put me off - these days, I prefer to stick more to classics or "unusual" machines.
Just wondered if anyone knows why there are so many for sale? Are £35 machines being phased out, or is there just an over supply of these at the moment? Just curious!
If they are being sold for £75 I guess the dealers must be paying very little for them if they can afford to sell them so cheaply!
Cheers, Mark.

Over supply of older, less reliable cabinets.
Fewer sites, all wanting newer machines.
Don't want to turn this into another thread about how ill the industry is, but...

Quite an old machine that, I'm surprised it's been chipped up to £35 at all, even if it is a clone of Stack Attack / Vortex and most other Reds from the past 3 years.
Perhaps it's just the Invincible cabinet, with a Vortex program card?

the industry get crap trade in prices for machines 3 years old or over.
we get £250 quid for a maygay rebuild of say money magic/juggling jackpots and thats the best price.
thats mainly down to the crap tech and the fact the maygay cabinet isn't made anymore.
(although companies like fat spanner are now installing their trivias in this cabinet as a rebuild.)
the old barcrest cabinet (genesis) is now going the same way.
barcrest only rebuild some club machines into these cabinets now.(thats all i've seen anyway)
you only get the £250 trade in if you are then putting it against a new machine or new rebuild.
so some companies like to sell these machines on ebay instead of having to put them against a new machine(which they may not need especially if they are in the second hand machine market).

Im Told Where We Used To Go In Our Local Chippy's Or Even Local Pub's
Due To Silly Regulations & Laws There Not Aloud To Have Cat D+ Machines
If So They Need A Licence .. But This Is To Much Hassel So They
Now Normally Get SWP's (Based On Skill's) & Dont Require A Licence So Out Came All the Quiz Box,I-Box,& Other Touch Screen Device's & Said Good Bye To The Fruity's ..
Thinks That Explanes It Partly .. Laws Are Absolute Bolliox Now Day's

when i saw the thread i straight away remembered nails post about the going on consultancy on prizes and stakes (£1 per play/£60 jackpot etc..) maybe desperation of the sales of these machines means new regulations are coming soon but the post above are more reasonable
