Hey all my name Danny,

I found this site after looking for some help, i have looked though some forums and see the basic's i think.
I understand this is quite rude but i'm need of help, however i can offer full scanned manuals for Simpsons if any one needs them ( Both Game information and Technical).

My problem, I have just got the 1st blue simpsons machine. after having a play and looking i understand i can change the cost and pay out, i have found a bank of 8 micro switchs nect to the percent pay out chip. after some playing i have changed the coin to 20-30 Pence. however i can not change the jackpot amount ???? i have all the cards to put in the front for 5,10,15 pound jackpots. i think the micro switchs have been added after the manual was written, hence no joy.
after some change's the display read 4.9 stake error.

I would like to thank in advance any help given, i understand i am new and very forward,

Not sure how the jackpot is changed on your particular machine. Some can be changed via the DIL switches or micro switches as you call them. Other games like older club machines have a jackpot setting switch.

It's probably just a case of messing with the switches to see if you gete the correct combination to make the changes you want.

A good tip though, and saves lots of messing later, is to make a note of the switch settings before you start changing them. As there will be plenty of combinations that put the machine in error mode. If you copy the settings before you start, you can put those back in if you do mess up.

I've been going though that and it dose not seem to change the jackpot, i just read somthing about possible soildering. i'm going to check the board for any of that . but thanks for the advice your a star.
