I know a warning was posted, but we are a public site. Some may deem this humourous, as I presume it was intended by the poster, but firstly, the warning doesn't really say what type of offence may be caused, or to whom. Secondly, my opinion of such things is that it is racially offensive. So I've deleted it. I certainly won't tolerate anything of this nature.

Had to laugh. My father in law sends me racist jokes every day by text and some very offensive emails. He sent me the banknote (pmsl). Got to have a laugh. I have other Obama jokes what people would find offensive and obviously would not post them here.

We hear jokes everyday about all different kinds of people but the second that a joke about a black person comes up you delete it,i am not racist and deleting the picture you are saying i am,all i can say is get a sence of humour and delete all the jokes from this site as most of them can cause some offence. YOu should have took notice of the "if easily offended dont read" idiot!

If a ban comes for me then so be it i am getting pissing sick of the way we have to watch what we say or do because we will offend people who offend us every day and get away with it.

I'm sorry if I upset you. It was not my intention. Deleting the picture was not an indication of wether there was racist intent or not by yourself or any other member. I removed it for the simple reason that I felt it inappropriate for the site with it's wide ranging membership. I felt uncomfortable leaving it there to be totally honest so removed it.

What you have to also bear in mind, is that I'm not here to throw my weight around. I'd much prefer to be doing nothing at all in the moderating department. The site as a whole needs little or no interaction from the moderators. So this is a good indication of how good the members are here. Of course, there are members who may feel the need to report a post that they may deem as offensive. After all, we all have different tolerances. All I want at the end of the day is for everything to run fine and for me not to have to deal with something some may find distasteful or insensitive.

Finally, you mention at the end of your post that you have been a member here for some time and never intended to cause offence. I see no issue here. It's no big deal. Nothing to worry about. And hope you continue being a member here. I don't want to cheese people off or plant the seeds of annoyance or anything. For a mod, you're damned if you do, and you're also damned if you don't. A mod will never please anyone but from time to time, must go out on a limb and do some things that may be deemed as 'picky'.
