Following on from what alth has posted about films / chick flicks, looking at TV Progs that are to be avoided at all costs....

Soaps is #1 on my hit list, and what is worse of all is I find most (Not all) women have to watch each and every one of em, especially Hollyoaks and East Enders, and force myself to watch the dam things as if they represent real life..... DO THEY BOLLOCKS! What is worse still, is when you get a GF like mine, dumping crap like 4 on demand to watch shit like this, which dumps crap all over my comps.

Talent shows like X Factor. WHAT f*****g TALENT???? I could do better by farting the national anthem after a heavy night on Stella and the hottest curry I can find in town, though I do love this old dear for trying... dirty old cow: YouTube - Betty Bryce - We're having a gang bang in X Factor 2008 FULL Version

Reality shows, mostly made up by b-list stars. You are washed up shite, that is desperate to get some air time to keep you in Bentley's.

As Stan says above. I like a lots of TV, but things to avoid IMO are:

Talent Shows
ANY Reality Shows
ALL Soaps (Eastenders, Corry, Emmerdale etc)

All the above are total mind rot. What next, "I'm A Celebrity Big Brother Dancing On Ice In the X-Factor".

EDIT: Also on these reality shows, why are they always crying all the time to some soppy music in the background. FFS toughen up and get on with it.

Sally doesn't watch any soaps. Which is lucky for me. Although I do have to endure all those reality TV shows like X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and the soon I'm a Celebrity. What does annoy me, is that she not only watches the shows, but often the repeats also the following day. Oh, and she watches the follow-on shows. Like Xtra Factor, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now. And yes, she does it all again when ITV28 play all the American versions.

BBc1 Eastenders- It was so shit in the week why do saddos want to watch again?
BBc2 International Rugby highlights- Ok for those interested in them sports. Easy for those with no interest to aviod.
ITV FA cup Special- Oh great i can watch two teams ive never heard of and never will again play a slightly better level of football than is in the local park.
C4- Various music shows-Fair enough it has a market just not me and fairplay to them for being different.

We dont watch standard tv, as its all crap, repeats, or reality shite.

We just download the programs we want to watch and chill out together on the sofa with a nice bottle of wine or a nice cup of tea, depends on what we are watching.

Our tv's tend to be the kids domain these days. There is nothing more annoying than watching Ben10 or hannah montana or Mr tumble on the 50" Vierra so when the kids are awake it tends to be computer time.
Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm
