Hi all,
I have a scorpion 4 PSU problem where the machine keeps re-booting at random. There is a variable resitor next to the fan output which is presumably to adjust the current draw setting of the fan. I assume this is to detect a stalled fan and protect the supply from over heating.
Does anyone have information on modifiying this arrangement to stop this happening. I am reluctant to buy a new one unless it is the only way forward.
Thanks for any help.

that is normal on bfg machines we always send them away for repair as there is not much you can do to them
have you noticed if when it starts to reset the red led on the mpu comes on if so it is a mpu fault not a psu fault
i have a mpu and psu here if you need them both are advance replacements
