try and find a game this works on. they should be loaded if really works why sell something for a few hundred quid that makes a fortune. looks like the winning bidder going to get robbed, should donate the money to this site rather than getting robbed by a crook. but once they get the device they will soon learn they have been robbed.

Yeh, have you made sure it isn't a company called 'Development Products'? They were selling worthless items like this for £250 a pop 12 years ago...

In principal, what they say is loosely based on fact. The Rf can and does influence the behaviour of not just fruit machines, but all sorts of IC (chip)based electronics. What they fail to point out in more detail is that the effects are completely uncontrollable, random, unpredictable and that you're as likely to set all the machines alarms off (even though they claim it won't) as get any extra credits or cash in the bank. How can they possibly know what routine they're going to initiate? All you're doing is basically 'confusing' the processor by adding 'noise' to the data lines between it and the EEPROM so that genuine instructions become jumbled and possibly ignored, like a lose gamble for example, or you get lucky and trigger an 'add a quid to the bank' maybe, possibly, perhaps. In short, it's kind of as close as you can get to sending random instructions through continously until you find one that does something, only much cruder. You may get lucky and clock up some cash or credits, but you're just as likely (more so actually) to simply reset the machine or lock it up completely in a frozen state known as 'brown-out' that'll require a power-down reset to recover from. (but the arcade owner or landlord won't have a problem with you switching the machine on and off at the wall will he?) The effects are totally unpredictable, could be good, could be bad. I'd be very suprised too if the processor wasn't sheilded from Rf anyway, particularly in this age of mobile phones and the like, (I doubt this is why they're banned from some arcades though, I never saw one have a problem in a pub and they're usually surrounded by people on the phone) Also, the program may be dumped into RAM and instructions 'verified' with those stored in the EEPROM before being carried out. I'm not saying that certain machines aren't susceptable to Rf interferance, but I doubt it'd work to anyones advantage, the results are about as effective and predictable as banging the machine against the wall imo, I sincerely hope no-one buys one, not for emptying fruit machines anyway. 8O

Just food for thought.
Who is the bigger fool. The buyer for believing the spiel, or the seller for trying to make a few quid!

OK, well I've just got a reply from my e-mail to 'bingosteve-o' at eBay (item #3268786602) asking for a demonstration - here's his reply:-
“Thank you for you interest.
As i do not own a fruit machine a demonstration can not be given, i can not use this device on fruit machines that do not belong to me, as it is not legall to do so.
I brought this device for 140 pounds from a guy called Darlly at this site www.darrylwatt.com the name on the site is called ARCADENEMY, i brought it because i was going to use it on fruit machines in town, but i then decided against it, I dont really want to get caught using it.
Please check out this site and email me back to what you think. I am willing to sell it for 100 pounds including the paper work that comes with it. i also brought the infra red device which is also featured on the site.
Regards Steve”
