Hi, I would need your help please. 2 years ago I bought an old slotmachine from JPM as a birthday present for my father (was the 50th). Now since two weeks ago it does not work anymore and I think it is because of the mainboard. Would like to replace it and that is why I would like to ask if someone would sell my such a system5 mainboard from JPM. Would really appreciate it if you could help me - the slotmachine is very important for my father as it was a special present for him :-(.
Thanks a lot,
Marco

eg: important is as well that this mainboard has a sound volume control on board. I try to attach a photo of the mainboard.

Hi, thanks for your reply
the machine is called "JACKPOT7" - one told me that it is maybe only a prototype and I don´t know very much about this machine, so would be great if someone would know something about it.
When I switch on the power the mainboard gets power, but nothing happens. I know that the mainboard gets power because it has 4 red leds and all leds light on. Normaly when it worked only three leds were on.
Thanks for your help

hello marco

it sounds like maybe the board is stuck in reset or the gamecard is not properly pushed in correctly.

try removing and then reinserting the gamecard into the main board.

i'm pretty sure the 4th led is the reset led so it may well be a faulty main board.

unfortunatly i do not have any of these boards spare and since it is an older machine it would look like ebay would be your best bet unless anyone else on here has one.

baz

thanks for this idea, will try it. Could it be possible that the program card is damaged? And if yes, is it possible to repair such a program card? Because I think there is no chance to get a new program card for this slotmachine, as there exists maybe only this one. Sorry that maybe the question is a little bit stupid, but I really don´t know much about such a technique ;-)

just make sure all the metal pins are ok on the program card as well because sometimes these bend or break off.
