Hello everyone
Only signed up a couple hours ago, kept seeing the statement that I should introduce myself so here I am. I'm Michael, from Peterborough, 29 years old.
Was well into my FME a couple years back, then gave it up. But decided today to get back into it all again. First thing I managed to get was a few new releases, of some great machines.
Now I know this has come up a few times, and I have spent the last hour looking for my answer, I've download a couple of fakes, but I'm looking for the latest MFME Emulator, 10 or 9.4 is it? Ive literally spent ages, as I've got 8 machines ready to play, and its killing me that I havent got the emulator yet
The last one I got, was from Mininova, and although I first thought, it was correct, as after I extracted, it was the correct launch icon, only problem was, when I loaded up a machine, it literally just bought it up and didnt turn on as such, this happened with all the machine, so am guessing you can guss my next question -
Where can I get the lastest MFME ,
Either PM or something,
Would really appriciate it
Many Thanks
Michael

Cheers, but....
When I goto register, it's telling me "new registration not allowed"
Do you know why this might be?
Or do you have any login details?

Still struggling It seems,
Iv d/l it all etc.. and after running Addams Family, its literally paused after the screen has appeared (looks as if the machine is turned off)
What should the config speed be? and are there any seetings I need to change or anything like that?
I can see light at the end of the tunnle, just need 1 last push

Hi Michael,
Set config/speed to 9999999 (should be default).
I have just looked at Baz's 1024 and it does look 'dead', hit 0 or click your mouse on the 'coin-in' slot and you should get credits and be able to play as I could.

As for locking up, do you by chance have a Realtek onboard AC97 soundcard? If so you need to update to the latest drivers. This is a very common problem.

Which Emu is best to use, 9.4 / 10.1 / 11 ( as I have 3 now )
The machine downloads from repro, are they single files, and will they just need to be open via the emu?

You need to unzip those files you downloaded from the repro into a folder on your hard drive. Then, using the emulator (File/load game) search for the folder and load in the .gam file.
Different games need different emulators - Its a bit of a pain finding the right one when you're a newbie. Basically the newer the machine the later the revision of emulator you'll need.

Dad - but repro wouldnt let me d/l the .gam file on Pshyco Cash Beast, It did the other files, so I'd already done what you said, d/l all into a file, but couldnt get the .gam file as it wouldnt let me d/l that, it just bought up a page of settings when I clicked on it

Michael...assuming you have the downloaded and installed 9.4 or 10.1..this is what to do. Run MFME (v...whatever)
Download the game you are looking for from this site. I would suggest creating a Fruit Machine folder somewhere on your hard drive. Once you have found the machine you are looking for....download the contents into the folder you have created. Unzip it....and then direct the emulator to the folder you have created using the file / load tab.
That should be it mate. Once you find the .gam file you are up and running.
