I've emailed asking how much they'll charge for del to Scotland - but am I not right in thinking that £90 is cheap for that machine delivered in England?

Oh yeah, I was looking at another listing that was £29 + £65 post for a £35 one.

This machine used to be in my local up until about 2 months ago.

£25 not £35.

I noticed that too spa, they're advertising £25 (which is old JP's) but the piccy shows £35, so that 'may' not be the machine you're getting.

Although I can't see theer beung much or a difference apart from decals.

If it's a business that's got all £35 JP's now, they'll not mind getting rid of the old ones. Think how much they're making off of delivery though, as they'll probably sell hundreds at £65 a time delivery and do them in one trip making them thousands.

(See Price Drop tv, they charge £8 delivery but sell thousands a day, so they get their money back from the low prices in delivery costs)

Luke... do me a favour mate....

Search EBAY for On A ROLL, then select Coin Operated from the side menu.

This Company has the same machine listed in groups of 10 at various prices 74 times?

Does tihs mean that they potentially have 740 of them?

Could be bankrupt stock they've acquired :)

I suspect the main reason they're doing it this way is because you pay commision on the list price not Delivery cost so they're basically diddleing ebay out of commission.

These machines will be Leisure Links Liquidated stock, hence why 90% of pubs are now bellfruit.

Feckin' big warehouse if you ask me ;) I can't remember the name of the other company, I think their ebay name is something like apb2003 or something to that effect. Where the hell are they actually "buying" these from in the first place(if you know, I want to know to;)). I'm sure they said somewhere that they buy machines as job lots, fecking loads of em at one time. But selling a machine at £25 a pop, they must be getting them for next to nothing from somewhere. More than double the machine price is made just on delivery. And my point about advance-leisure is one of their tagline things said "check our rivals feedback before buying from them" so I did and their rivals feedback is about 0.4 percent better lol.

Remember that when machines are no longer required, the supplies would have to PAY to dump them - so it is better for them to sell them for peanuts - or even give them away - than pay the fees associated with disposal.

To be honest the delivery charges of £50 to £65 sounds about right to be, I doubt if they make much on delivery and I would rather pay this than drive from one side of England to the other, paying for fuel and hiring a van - which would cost a lot more in both time and money!

Still, looks like there are loads of bargains to be had at the moment!

Cheers,

Mark

Would it be easy enough to get a hold of £5 decals for this?
