Hi Guys,
I looking to buy a few new machines for my arcade. In you opinion, what is the best fruits £25 or £35 jackpot and does anyone have them for sale. Idealy, i would be looking to buy 2 at a time as delivery is the same price for me.
I'm thinking Space Raiders, Manic Muncher, DOND and Vamp It Up. What is you opinion on any of these.
Anthony

If you are talking about what I'd like to play then old fashioned feature rich machines- however if you are on about what will offer the highest return it would have to be the Barcrest £35 video slots - Golden Charms/ Elvis ones/ etc. multi game - they take 100s off the grannies in minutes.. Seem to make a hello of a lot of profit!!!

£35 DOND would probably take good money, *BUT* they are still holding their value for some reason (). You could get a nice selection of machines for the price of 1 DOND. Still, the DONDs do get played well, and dare I say it, do take good money.
If you were looking at four machines, I'd get a couple of different styles.
Get a Red / Blue trail for those that think they can manipulate features to their best advantage (Vamp it Up and Space Raiders as you said, also consider Shark Raving Mad, Supernova, All Fired Up, and at the cheaper end of the market, older machines like Hot Stuff and Hellraiser).
Get a multi-level board machine, like the current batch of shite from Games Media and Global. The actual machine will cost pretty much nothing, the market is flooded with them - but for minimal outlay I reckon they'd do pretty well.
If you can get hold of a hi-tech DOND at an affordable price, I'd get one. They are holding their value so well that if you shop around, if it doesn't get played (which would amaze me, people are sucked in to the whole hidden reel aspect), then you should have no problems selling it on.
Apart from that, get whatever takes your fancy. I'd be tempted to get a cheap Red Gaming (again, like Games Media the market is full of these and they cost nothing) for people who know the usual 'tricks', or those after a brutal hi-lo session.
At the end of the day though, it's down to your punters what they will and won't play, so don't take my word as gospel
I think Golden Game is a tedious load of repetitive $&%#, but they (2x £5 3 players and 1x £25 3 player) are among the highest taking machines at work - so obviously you are not alone in liking them

Like Ben said, people opinions differ.
Everyone seems to hate DOND (me included) but thats only cause we don't win on them, someone like Gary Chandler will swear they're the dest machines in existance.
*IMPORTANT NOTE* If you do get a DOND don't tell gary where you're based lol

Are you on Crack?? 1 of the worst machines ever made!! Although from a business point of view is probably 1 of the biggest money earners.

Talk about contradicting yourself!!1 Hot property is DOND!!! Are you thinking about Monopoly Road 2 Riches??
A red gaming will bring in players & munters that think they're players so overall you gotta get 1 in, they're cheap and can take loads as well as pay out big, just don't put it on a shitty 70%. It won't get played anywhere near as much as a 78%, far too tight.
A games media will also be worth investing in, pretty cheap to buy and should be quite popular to start with.
If I could give 1 tip it would be, try and change a few m/c's quite reguarly. I've virtually stopped going in arcades now because the hi-tec's get changed maybe once a year.

Your last point about machines getting changed once a year is very true around here too. Going back about cor I would say 2 or 3 years, the "main" arcade in Paignton got a golden game arena plasma and a monopoly arena plasma too, both on £5. Now in less than about 3 months, they had been taken out. I really don't see why as they made lots of money and made the arcade look really nice going in and seeing two plasma screens(3 if you count party games) in a five pound jackpot area. Then they got taken out and replaced by a few standard gg's and an oxo arena. Might be wrong as it was ages ago

Gamestec Online : Powering Electronic Entertainment : The UK's leading national operator of Amusement and Gaming Technology. Maybe worth a look mate, sucks that your in Ireland mind so delivery could be a problem. If you offered them a fiver, they would probably say yes lol.

what i mean gambogaz is i dont like any dond or clones of them because the gameplay sucks. the only dond clone i like is hot property because the gameplay seems excellent all of the time. although most casual punters love dond which i fail to understand

It's czech mate:) woop a pun:p
He says thus
Sorry folks at me but I do not know where you write so excuse my ineptitude
As for the arcade, some moneytakers like a couple electrocoins wouldnt do harm, esp a magic 7 or 2.
