How cold?

Well I just checked my weather station here in Cheltenham and it reads minus 7.1 centigrade. That is bloody cold and it is dropping like a stone. Heaven knows what it'll be in the morning.

Haha just a few miles from me then. Im in gloucester and its been frozen all day, we still have snow from monday as its been so cold its not had a chance to melt. What part of chelt you from?

Forom the west side - near swindon village - which bit of gloucester ar eyou from rh?

Update ** now minus 7.5, so rate of drop is decreasing - just threw a snowball outside and the water on my fingers froze to the door handle as I tried to come in **

the snow still is still frozen from monday in kent and there is nothing that is not covered by black ice. it is near impossible to drive on

pavements in Brum are still like ice rinks-absolutely deadly,nearly gone flat on my arse twice tonight.think i might stay in until its all gone lol

I haven't known it so cold for many years. It feels like a retro 80's winter to me (minus the snow so far). I read that we are in the process of a global cool down with the sun producing lesser sunspots, something to do with the 'solar cycle'. I guess even a mini ice age is possible.

Im just about in the town centre, off london road. Was so cold last night that outside my window was colder than my freezer!! WTF
