For some reason time of postings showing yesterday, although due to where this thread is on the homepage, I'm sure it must be today. It's only 23:06, not tomorrow yet. On a serious note, ditch the £1.60 win, prize structure of £1,£2,£4,£4,£5,£6,£8,£10,£15 is what you need. Trust me on that, maybe not on the whole Gary Chandler thing, might be best to leave him out at this turbulent time.

You're looking for machines that offer a fair gamble to everyone. Familarity should be rewarded and not be contemptuous. However go to far and it's a dead duck to the not so clued. Just throw little titbits to the players, nothing too juicy, never too juicy. Profiles are curious. Is the game too easy to kill? It is unpredictable? Too much unpredicatability and it can cause player alienation. Too little and it can cause casual alienation. Happy balance. Easier said than done. What is that happy alogorithm?
