Yes you can only get a certain amount of time to edit a post..Admins and Mods can do it anytime.

Sharpy going back to the point about the thread will NEVER end..why not change the rules slightly (just a suggestion) but why not make it at a time of your choosing to close the thread.

No-one is ever gonna know when that will be..might be an hour from now 12 hours..a week..6 months..2 years..whenever you decide when you wanna close the thread and let an Admin or Mod know..and the last person to post on the thread wins the money.

Ye could let an Admin or Mod know that you want the thread closed and obv theres gonna be no cheating..to quickly add another post in before the thread becomes locked.

Anyway, what happens in the case of say the site becoming unavailable? Say someone posts to this thread, and then the site mysteriously goes offline 1 minute less than the time needed to win the money... if no-one posts for 1 minute, does the poster get the money, or is it assumed that only one minute has passed since the post was made?

Apologies for confusing anyone with the bit I just wrote

If the site goes down, when it comes back up, the 18 hours starts again from the point of the sites return.

Also, if it becomes obvious that 18 hours is far too long, and that no one is ever going to win, I will shorten the length of time. At the moment I haven't decided how much, but probably to 15 hours, then 12, then 10 and so on and so on.

Someone WILL win, eventually!

Well, I can't WIN, but I can post, thus re-starting the 18 hour time. However, I don't just sit at my pc for 24 hours a day, in order that no one will ever win! If I'm around to post, I will do, if not, then I wont and can't!! :-))
