Has anyone seen these? They have 5 of them in the Mecca Bingo in Blackpool. £1 a spin, £1,000 jackpot. They look and play like the £500 Rainbow Riches but a background game of bingo plays every spin. On the wall opposite is a notice confirming the £1 a spin under the heading Cashline (which is the table/party bingo). Have the manufacturers come up with another way of increasing jackpots/escaping license duty? I can't find anything about them online and wondered if anyone else had seen them or knows anything more about them?

yes this is a clever way around the law of maximum £500jp...
Some other clubs ie. riva have machines available at £2 a spin, £4000jp...
What they say is that it's a game of bingo and the reels are just there to display the result of the game of bingo graphically.... infact the actual "bingo" game you play against someone else is for 1p (ie. either you or someone else you hypothetically play against wins 1p), every other part of the stake is entered into the bingo game: let me explain what this bingo game actually is:
It's a different way of generating a random outcome, such that the payout of all outcome probabilities times their payout is equal to 92% of the stake - IE THE EXACT SAME THING AS NORMAL RANDOM MACHINES ON B3
Really all that happens is they are just generating a random outcome in a different way, akin to throwing a dice instead of tossing a coin - essentially its the same thing, a random gamble. Yet these big companies get away with it AGAIN...

Interesting. I guess this only applies to bingo clubs then so we won't see the arcades offering £4k jackpots?
