Refering to my previous question regarding the emulating of MPU5, i would like to thank you all for your knowlegable responses. I would like to say i agree its better off not released until new software has been produced by the manufactures. After all none of us want the end of this scene do we.

Its just a shame with quality machine like Lotto luck, Jackpoteers (clono of Lotto luck) and not forgetting the even better Temple of treasue with the wicked follow me scam. That one brought me so much profit it was unbelievable after witnessing a full time pro do it when he thought i wernt looking. (not the mobile cheat)

Someone else who agrees!!

A 'CHEAT' will give you a definate advantage independant of odds - to get Barcode on TOT you are basically being offered either the £12 or the JP anyway and hence I don't consider it a 'cheat'

Same applies to Pie Factory - on most of the ones around where I live you would have to be FU**ING lucky to get above 'Slice of the Action' - I'm sure theres some of you on here that have seen similar machines :)

still tho...

if we had MPU5 kits to work with you really think the scene will die?

i dont.

For one we will have MPU5 :D
::First jackpot::-::2p-a-go Winspin::-::£1.50 jackpot from 4p gamble::-::was still in a pram:: Anyone fancy doing WinSpin? Cant find it and would love to see it done.

Only £500 jackpot on Little Devils which I got waiting for a Rainbow Riches (£70) feature to end. Then I got £210 on the feature on Rainbow Riches. My mrs was happy that day!

I'm sure if an MPU5 Emu was created and distributed outside this site, then there's probably not a lot the manufacturers can do.

Just a thought .....

Yeh, that's the main reason I wanted to go to ATEI - I was going to ask Barcrest if they were going to dispense with MPU5 in favour of a new tech any time soon...now we'll never know...

It's hard to know...I mean.. MPU5 has been out for 6 years now...I would say it were due for a change, but I don't see how they could improve it. Same applied to JPeMu, it does all that is required, it is reliable e.t.c

But I still think JPM are upgrading tech soon, are they not?

BTW In the last 45 mins we've gone from NO snow to quite a bit of snow.... I know it's off topic but what the hell :D

Ooooh... The weather outsiiiide is frightful, but the fiiiiiiiiire is soooooo delightful :D

there was a lot of problems with ephoc. they were notorious for taking out psu`s for one, and lets be honest, it was the noisest system around for electrical noise.

'mpu 5 has been out for 6yrs i hear somebody say? they also say it may be time to change? '

What I was meant to get across is that while MPU5 is 6/7 years old, and I would like to see replaced, I can't see any possible improvements barcrest could make. Seems reliable enough, they may not replace the tech at all :D
