Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and fruit machines in general (well specifically the ins and outs! been playing them for long enough).

I have just purchased Cobra Cabana, £25 Jackpot. It is a red gaming machine, I believe in a mpu 5 cabinet? The cabinet looks newish , maybe around 2003?.

The problem is, when I turn on my machine it will not accept any coins, as well as this, on pressing start I get £6 worth of credits everytime. I just want this machine to play as it would do in a pub / arcade. It is annoying that I have free presses, there is no incentive to put money in!!

Also if anyone could advise on how to lower the % payout, that would also be helpfull there is a key with 6 switches on it, currently away from the machine so I cannot tell you what the swtiches are set at - sorry.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Im no expert on these things by any means..but the machine is obv in test mode.

And through reading other similar threads i believe the door switches may be either faulty or not closed properly.

Like i say..i know nothing about them..someone will probably be along in a minute to tell me to stop talking crud..and tell you the real solution to your problem.

Thanks for the prompt response, so I just need to make sure all the doors are firmly locked ? Are there any internal locks within the machine i need to be aware of ?
