Well me and the Mrs has been trying for a baby for a while now, she has some symptoms I.E Nausia in mornings, Nipples are darker than normal with white spots around them (milk spots?) her brests are tender (sore/hard?)

well my question is and please forgive me for being stupid as this will be a first for me, is there any kind of bug that could cause this? (dont want to get our hopes up lol).

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Brian

Our lass went to the docs recently about sore breasts and doc said that it was an infection in the milk ducts which can cause these symptoms. Not been able to cop a feel for ages lol:bigeyes04:
Good luck in your quest for parenthood btw:bigeyes02:

They may be Montgomery tubercles or glands of Montgomery these are sebaceous or oil producing glands located on the areola of the nipple they are ajoined to the hair shaft it is thought that they secrete a lipoid, oil like substance which is thought to have ani-bacterial qualites. They may change due to hormonal changes , puberty or pregnancy. Sometimes ( i think !!) they may secrete a tiny amount of milk during pregancy. THe oil or lipoid substance travels up the hair follicle and is distributed on the skin sometimes due to dead skin cells or blockage there may be a build up that will appear more pronounced which should be left to clear itself whilst you keep the area clean. This substance is also there to keep the areola area moist and alters the pH of the skin and stops bacterial build up, it is to stop cracking of the skin in that delicate area particularly during pregnancy. As i said hormonal changes can affect them. THey are also a sign of early pregnancy so whilst it is possible to have them without being pregnant (and quite normal too) it may be a sign of pregnancy so maybe you should see a doctor. These glands become much more pronounced during pregnancy as the body prepares for breast feeding. If they are very pronounced or painful or you are worried you should see a doctor:-)

Only 1 sure way to find out though Brian and do a pregnancy test.

Good luck :)
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

As a dad of 7 i would suggest that she is pregnant, tender breasts and morning sickness can occur around 2 weeks after conception, i would suggest a pregnancy test to confirm it, not a poundland one though...sometimes a dark line will start to appear starting from the top of her pubic bone, heading towards her navel...preganancy test, then doctors....

my wife kept coming up negative on our last child until she was 13 weeks gone...i would suggest perhaps a visit to the GP to see if there is a virus or something else going around that could be causing the same symptoms, There is a pregnancy test that can detect as early as 2 weeks after conception but the best one is the HCG bloodtest done at the doctors but it does require 2 visits 24 hours apart to determine if the HCG level is increasing or not.

Dont have to buy feck all m8..hand a urine sample into her GP's surgery and you usually have the result back next day at latest.

Them pregnancy testing kits are about £15 each are they not ? I know what option id go for.

Heres an image...maybe a visit to the local family planning clinic may help as they do pregnancy tests on the spot for free and no waiting for answers..

What you are discribing could be the start of her period or it could be implantation bleeding that sometimes happens in the early part of conception.

Fingers crossed for you and you other half.

My missus was exactaly like that first month when she was preggers, so this could be a good sign bud, but as the others have said, get the GP to run a blood test to be sure :)

Due to drop 23rd March..... many screaming nights with the brat, fantastic! lol
