If Palindrome's updates ended up in Spam for some reason, they should be resubmitted. Palindrome's a programming genius - why's his stuff in Spam?
The rom dumps can be done with the chips - don't need the board - just the eeproms - the hardware is what's emulated!
It's cold here in Tasmania so i'm gonna put on a jumper (relevance?)
Later !!

OK cool, I will start looking about up north and see what I can come up with. I would think just about every game is available up there.
Suppose we just have to wait for the emulation to be finished, dam, wish I knew more about programming.

Well...it seems that the emulation for the mk4 is basically dead...no-one is doing anything on it..palindrome has disappeared....no-one knows how to emulate it and no-one's even interested in looking into it! Signing off xxxx

Significant progress has been made since the last update thanks to FrasheR who hooked up the 2 sound chips and we now have a lot more to work with.
We've been working very hard on this, so please be patient....

This is great news! Cant wait for this to work, been almost a year since palindrome started and as nothing was posted I thought the project had died!
Have been looking up in north africa, all the games are there but it appears no-one has any idea about eprom readers etc. Will have to keep trying to find someone who knows what they are doing!
Palindrome - do you think the mk5 will ever be emulated? Most things I have read say that the ARM stuff is very complex and not many people know it or how to work with it?

Wow, totally missed this thread, looks like some cracking progress has been made. Its been nice to read about another emu for a bit.
I did briefly see the MC6809/6821 CPU/PIA mentioned. If you need any info/help on those, just ask.
Other than that, keep up the good work, its come a long long way.

It's not my driver and I have no idea who is working on it. Besides, there is no decent documentation on the ARM250 so you would have to wait until that is done.

We currently have most games working. However we have no way of adding credits right now through the interface
without using the MAME debugger.
Hopefully this will change soon.

No submissions are going into spam folders. Look at the last update which was added to MAME only a month ago.
