fun & it can be used as a babe magnet

but get the 1st gen one and jailbreak it

saves a lotta money on apps

but takes time =/

i have the 8gb one and the iphone its great there is so much you can do with it. itunes do loads of free apps for them now. but if you wont all the good stuff for free then you will have to jailbreak it like eminemster said. but if you jailbreak it, be careful or you might f**k the ipod up get someone who knows what they are doing to do it for you:bigeyes04:

The only bad thing about 1st gens is they have no onboard speaker, I'm not sure if second gen can be Jailbroken yet?

I've got the 2nd gen and tbh the speaker is crap, it's ok for apps but think of the speaker on the ipod touch as a speaker on a happy meal toy. I've got no apps aswell cuz it can't be jb'ed .
