Coral island in blackpool is still going strong with the token jps loads of barx big7 double nudgers and still the odd 5p viva las vegas always a treat to play:bigeyes05:

Just reading through this thread and you stole my thunder mate. Yep, was going to post that Coral Island still has loads of old Bar X's set for token payout.

Good news and bad news

The good news the arcade is outside the pleasure beach on ocien boulavard.

The bad news is Jim the guy who owns it is retireing at the end of this season so this will be the last year of operation, he has allredy sold off some of the classics in there includeing me and the wifes faves machines Maygays Flashlight and Spotlights we used to do well on them, he has also sold one of his BWB vidieo AWP's and some of the video games all on ebay, and the rest will be on e-bay towards the end of the season i think the spot/flashlights went for £30 ish each.

I can beleve this as its a Noble Organiseation arcade and most of there arcades up here in the north east still have a selection of mainly Electrocoin machines on tokens, there arcade on Redcar seafront has many of them. And most of the inland arcades still have some Bar X's Big 7's and Red bars on tokens.

If I remember right...Happy Dayz on the prom (just off central) has some good old machines in it too. Set to 78% and not the miserly 70%.

In that case i was probley in it when we were at Southend last August BH weekend as there are not that many arcades at Canvy Island along the front and we went in them all, I made a small profit to.

There is a small arcade on Great Yarmouth seafront that had some machines that still payout tokens, don't know if the machines are still there as I haven't been to Great Yarmouth since last year.

I remember them having Bar X's and Red Sevens (?), Road Hog, Monte Carlo, The Roll and a few others still paying out token Jackpots.

From what I can remember this arcade had a bingo room attached to the side and was the first arcade you came to as you walked up the seafront towards The Pleasure Beach.

The arcade is called the Majestic i was in there last week but im afraid the only token jackpot left now is Road Hog i only put a £1 in and won a pocket full of tokens.i put them back in won £8 in cash by collecting wins under £3 to avoid tokens again!!

There is also 2 bar x token machines in the oasis arcade in hemsby where you can change the tokens for bingo wins

Yes its the arcade you say with the bingo attached the only ones i can remember are some Bar x machines but they looked like cash jackpots i will be there again in a few weeks i will take another look.

Hi yes you are right i was in there this morning and the Monte Carlo and the 2 rows of Bar x's are still there going strong!

got 2 8 pound 5p token bit tight on payout

one 4.80 token plays good run

8 pound 10p token allways runs empty

6 pound 10p play gives you a good run for money

Theres an arcade near Finsbury Park in north london called the Pallace that still has token machines mainly bar-x's and a las vegas strip.

Every member has a card and when you visit you show the casher the card and they give you 5 pounds in tokens.

most days there are normally around 20 to 30 people in there.
