Eidos have relaunched the brand new Championship Manager website - Championship Manager website with a free download of the full game of Championship Manager 01/02 known as probably one of the best ever football management games.

This game is now updated to 08/09, with backgrounds, menubars and many more additions all for free.

You will need to register on the new CM site to download but its worth it for the whole game (Free). Additonal add ons such as data updates, backgrounds, patches, menubars etc are all also available free via the dedicated update site Data Updates

If you have signed up, and are having trouble finding the page here is the link direct to the download, but you must have signed up to the site first. DIRECT LINK FOR CM01/02

Enjoy All!!

ps. For those of you with newish computers please remember;

To right click the .exe file
Select properties
then select programme to run in compatibility with windows 98.

it does work. You will need to download a programme called Daemon tools. It basically acts as a virtual cd rom drive. Then once that is installed, load the NTO file from the cm01/02 file, using Daemon tools.

I used alcohol 120% to do it (which has daemon tools type of thing built in) but it still failed... it's not the method its probably my copy of Vista...

Did you burn it onto disk, or virtually load the NTO file?

I virtually loaded it and it was fine, I know some other people who burnt it onto disk have had issues.

Also remember to set the programme to run in compatibility with windows 98.

For speed, and just general enjoyment it definately is one of the best, however if your wanting to go into a bit more depth it is obviosuly lacking.

Feck it...I've got Windows '98 and it won't work. :bigeyes11:

I'll just buy a football team anyway as I won £35 million on the Eurolottery last week. :lol:
