second posting on here today, but felt this was more important, does anyone else think that the B3s should be banned or ristricted to casinos? After seeing a mate of mine spending £4000 plus on Slotto gambler,a new hooror story from Astra, with no return apart from a paltry 200 quid which got quickly eaten back,me being me complained to the manager, who tartly advised me,that they were `random`! and had no control over it,,hmmmm ,yeah quite, ive won £500 on Elvis with £20.00 on 3 discs ,,a unique thing in itself,,but then lost £1000 on it the other day,no return,,not that i play them much, thank fk,,but makes u wonder how many are going to be bankrupt, lose their houses etc before these things are removed if ever, these arnt amusements, but hard core gambling,,far cry from the days of Line -up and Nudge double up deluxe!

That's spot on. You just have to have the willpower to not play them. These machines are not "fun" anymore. Long gone are the days a fiver could last for hours.

Unfortuately it's just the way of the world; greedy owners and manufacurers picking on the gullable player who beleives they can win a fortune on them.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

The only way you ever win on these is landing on at the right time with a tenner and getting a jackpot the arcade owners know the hardcore gamblers will sit there on them day after day chasing their losses trying to get a consolation jackpot for something like 1-5 grand in extreme cases scandalous.

If ever I could get you guys together...I would slap ya right in the mush!!!! Get real!!! Fruities are designed to take money and they will ALWAYS win. Rather go for a few pints and a curry and go home with cash in my pocket nowadays. Give it up fellas honest. :)

i personally think b3s and s16s are piles of shit. ive never touched one, never will. i just dont see what fun there is watching a computer drop symbols into a screen. i know standard fruities eat money but at least your doing something not just watching it

Yes they're pretty horrible. If you absolutely must play them, best advice is to set your limit to a note, £5/£10/£20 or even £50 whatever your means. Pump it in and run with a win or play till bust and for Gawd's sake walk. If you can't do that, you should definitely not be playing these.
For pure luring you in heartstopper addictiveness it's Reel King.
Ding ding ding ding ..... blank............Grrrrrrrrr, now you're committed!

I quite like DONDs, I know Gaz, it's a filthy habit and I should give it up.
@_!!

They are piles of shite but have saved my bacon a few times.Being unemployed I don't waste cash like I used to but limit myself to £10 if I go into an arcade.Won £100.50 off my tenner today but that was a one off.Steer clear if you are not already roped into these beastly machines:bigeyes08:
Btw the £100.50 will last me a month now:bigeyes20:without going to the bank

Slotto Gambler is a scandalous, evil piece of junk, never seen a jackpot on it even gambling at a tenner a spin, lost over £1000 in one the other week - lucky some of it was profit from other machines.

It never EVER ends well on that machine, always blocks gambling to the jackpot and just constantly sucks whilst giving the occasional small to medium sized wins.

B3 is absolute shite compared to how S16 used to be.

Intresting description of machines in general - The owner of the arcade I used to frequent always referred to the machines as "boxes", not machines.

Welcome to non random fruit machines.

You can rest assured however that some so-called "pro" will come along and empty it for you, by pressing the right buttons/deploying an emptier, DOND stylee. Gives you a nice warm glow inside no doubt.

It's bad enough when we're talking about a £25/£35JP AWP, but a pound-a-go, £500/£1000JP pseudo casino machine plonked in some kiddies arcade...? Ouch. (Of course, real casino machines are random - there are no 'emptiers' in Vegas Casinos and all have to be rigorously certified by federal law, not some industry-led quango).

S16s were evil devices no doubt, but at least they were fair evil devices, after a fashion at least. I'm sure glad I haven't touched a real fruity for 7 years now, bar one relapse about 5 years ago.

A few years back I use to help out in an arcade which is owned by novamatic or nova not sure. There was a woman who went on a machine that had just been put in there. From start she was the first one to play it and 5 days later and £8,400 + still no JP, she sold her car to get more cash. She ended up getting the jp on the 5th day and walked away with £780. Two day later some random guy walked in put £20 in and got 3 jackpots + other smaller wins!! No one had played it since she left it. Just goes to show how much they can rip without a jp and then pay out big over a short time. I have had a jp on elvis on 3 records then very next spin 3 records again and another jp that was at £2 a spin back in the day and was from about a 70 quid stake. I stay well away now as i have been burnt to many times. Seeing that woman put so much in should of been more than enough to put me or anyone else off.

If nobody played them, at the end of the year they would go. No money in the cash boxes for the money they pay to have them in would see them go sharpish.

Problem is, most arcade/bingo hall have that much tat in them you may aswell try your luck on one of these instead. I think your chances are much higher. I'd rather £10 in a rainbow that a double decker or a bullion bars.

It says "THIS MACHINE IS RANDOM" on the screen?
