I Don't find that funny at all. Im not too keen on her at all but i wouldnt wish this on her. The girl is only 27 years old, she's hardly lived, it makes me grateful for the 36 years i have had so far. I think this thread should be deleted full stop.

On this very forum i have read jokes about race, the titanic, zebrugue ferry disaster etc etc all of which were at the time taboo subjects seems if its something that affects a lot more people its classed as far more upsetting... Im not saying its a good joke or one i like but the outcry over this subject has been way ott im afraid...

i'm sorry but with the swearing only like i said i'm not easily offended but what she put joke or not that is well out of order. she's a young woman who's had no life with 2 kids she isn't going to see grow up would you be happy if someone made a joke of you dying of cancer?????? I THINK NOT.

Well im glad you can add to all the hysteria and nonsense geegee... If anyone close to the family was lookin on fruit-emu boards and not worrying about their family then shame on them.. Yes its a shame, Yeas its sad, but its not my shame and not my sadness, i lost my mum to cancer, that was my care my sadness, couldnt give a toss what anyone else thought.. I studied philosophy for 3 years, and it was the best thing i ever did, it really helps make a lot of sense of lifes tribulations.. we could all spend our lives jumping on a hysterical media bandwagon and making a fuss over nothing. it may be out of taste but most people would have read it and ignored it if they didnt like it as i imagine they have..

I can and can't see both sides of the argument to this. I don't like Jade Goody, never have but she seems to be doing the best for her kids...so good luck to her. I didn't see the joke in question.

There's a fine line between having a laugh and being offended. I can laugh or not laugh at offensive jokes, depending on their nature. I'm not sure if they should be censored, although I've not seen it. But in Tara's defence, she did specify in the title...but I guess some readers can't help themselves but look.

well u didnt miss much mate. it will be the 1st of many floating about in the coming weeks, im sure most of us have been sent and passed on jokes like that to our friends. all im saying is no consideration was given to other members by the person responsible before posting it.

My father in law died of cancer not so long ago,he died in pain but kept his sense of humour till the end. Less of the TIT and stp looking in the F*kin mirror.
