spammage comming up folks, and may explain any sudden absences from myself....

False start with the missus, though I have been up with her since 2am this morning, she complaining of massive headaches and feeling dizzy.

She's been borderline pre-eclampsia and it was touch N go if they was gonna c-section her today.

On bit of good news, is that she's no longer breech, though floating.

Tests have all come back ok, but they are keeping her in for tonight for ob's, and should be back in the morning.

I'm having a quick break here, whilst she's got her mam with her, then i'm back off to Derby in about an hour.

Little bugger is not coming out just yet!

Closing note...... vending machine coffee tastes like SHIT! ;D

Hope everything goes ok m8, remember when my lad was born. He pooped inside which then caused him to get distressed and so she we had to move 16 miles to the Gloucester hospital as the one in stroud was crap. She was in labour from 9am until 6.30a, the next day and he was get even more distressed so they took her to have the caesarean section. I was there and watched the lot. Then ma lil lad was born and i was the happiest dad on earth.

Im sure it will be fine for u & the partner stan :)

Good luck Stan. Why is it that a minute in hospital seems like an hour?
I can remember the nurses sending me home when my son was supposed to be born. It was midnight and i had been in hospital 18 hours and were ready for some shuteye. Just got my head down and had a phone call saying he was on the way. Think all the excitement made my tiredness go away and our lass was only in proper labour for two hours.
Great feeling being a dad and wish you and the mrs all the best!

Looks like it's a deffo no-show for the rugrat yet, after managing to get her blood pressure down. So unless anything major happens in the meanwhile, the little bugger is due March 23rd.

Also managed to get some much needed sleep last night, but I have now woken up with the mother of all heavy colds.... still, the cat will not leave me alone, bless him.

Cheers for the shoutout's people..... will pass on to the missus (Bet she's enjoying better coffee than I did out of that bastard machine yesterday).

Another update..... They have kept her in for another night, after farting about all day, keeping her hanging in the balnce when some low ranking desk jockey finaly said she's not going back till at least tomorrow.

Poor lass was in tears with me @ 5pm, so I lost me dam rag, and got me arse down Derby..... seams that near enough all of the staff have been downstairs running the labour ward section, and left upstairs.

I will say one thing about the ward (314) she's on..... it's f*****g massive, with over 65 beds, around 80% of em I would say as private rooms (And for once, good coffee!).

So, got back around 8.30 tonight, bit of snap, and now gonna try and sleep, but not easy with this heavy cold i've got (Yep, made sure I covered me hands in that alachol gel they have).

EDIT..... f***er has just signed on via her mobile to MSN..... i'm gonna slap her tomorrow, should be sleeping!
