I've been looking around some DOND threads and notice a lot of people hate them!
I was just wondering if people thought there was any version that is a decent machine to play on?
Because in my local there's an "It's Your Show" one set on 25/50p stake £35 jp and seems to give a fair bit of decent play. I've only played it a few times (About £5 each time) and ended up winning more than i put in, with a decent amount of board action.
Also the repeat chance on this machine is laughably slow the first time, and seems impossible to miss.
But yesterday i played on a Walk of Wealth for the first time, and got £6 in and payed out £8. I then put another £20 in and only got passed £1 on the board about twice!
So i was just wondering what everyone else thinks of the different models?
Sorry if this has been discussed before, which im sure it has!
Also, on the Bell Fruit website they have a new Family Guy machine coming soon, just wondering if anyone knows anything about these? The game looks identical to a DOND except with family guy theme.

Technically its out now but only in a few places as a tester, This is in a pub round the corner from me has it, and has had it for a few months i believe, from what i saw while in there it is exactly like DOND as can be seen, im also told it plays like a DOND
So when its good its good, but once its paid too much then it plays like a bag of sh*t

hi mate, i havent done too bad recently out of dond's, last friday i took £88 out of "the big deal" from a gatw and afterplay, i then played two walk of wealths that totalled £55, then played a what's in your box and took another £55 off megastreak! i have heard the one with the wheel is a pile of sh**e but havent seen one yet (deal wheel)

i have to say i have played a few deal or no deal machines they all act the same in my eyes they are rubbish and they are doing my head in you cant walk into a pub without there being 1 or a machine that looks just like a deal or no deal cant bell fruit think of something else i would play them if they were free for the laugh but i aint going to waste anymore money in them i would rather play a OXO machine lol

i dropped the £250 the 1st time i played the club version of dond in my local rileys. havent got a clue what it was called, on mega spin mode u had no chance. on supa spin mode u had a 2 in 4 chance of hitting 1 of the lit keys. When u did the reels spun and if u get a win u win and get the chance to gamble up to the exchange, if u lost u lost (which was usually the case) In my case id put £5 in before i hit a spin, then it gave me the 4 dond symbols on the win line taking me straight onto the big board. After the 1st 5 boxes were removed it offered me £27. I would have no dealed at this point anyway coz the £250 was still in play, but a bloke playing on the machine next to me said "its offered £27 its going all the way play on" he even knew that the last 2 boxes in play would be 10p and the £250 and that it will offer about £100 for my box. "no deal it" he says. he was spot on and it played exactly like he said it would (wonder how he knew) end result i won the £250. i played it alot since then and its easily had its £250 back and more with no joy. sometimes £20+ without a spin of the reels. Hope my explanation of that makes sense, im sure im not the only 1 who has come across it.

£20 without a spin on the reels! Wont ever catch me on a machine like that. Getting worse these new clubbers. I will always to the 5p or 10p ers where at least you get a bit of game play.

Well when i was playing Walk of Wealth it was pretty shit, got up the board to £4 after putting bout £12 with no joy and got killed off and that's as high as it got.
So the It's Your Show one isn't a popular one between everyone then i take it?

In my view they all stink to high heaven. I play only very casually these days, and they are not built with the casual player in mind.
Strict policy if playing a DOND - put a fiver or so in and if no feature offered or it looks otherwise stingy then get away from it. Not a foolproof strategy by any means but prevents you becoming trapped on the machine. I can easily lose a fiver and walk away not feeling bad about it - but if it grows to be more than that then it can really put a crimp on your day.
In my view, simply not worth it.
