Hi all,

Just signed up as i am in need of some advice.

I have just purchased a JPM Gamebox, and have 2 questions.

The first question, when i insert a pound coin, it registers but falls to the money tray at the bottom doesn't sit in the hopper.

The second question, is there anyway i can set the machine to free play as it's my games dont last long, and i have to keep opening the machine to get the money back out to continue playing.

Thanks

Right this is speaking from a fruit machine point of view but it should be the same* -

Open the front of the machine up(the top part where the screen is)

Inside the machine look at the part where the coins go in and there should be a coin mechanism(if its the same as a fruity then two little metal "pins" should be slotted in to 2 little slots) Take the mechanism out and on the back of it there should be about ummmm 6 sockets to put different plugs in(one of them should be significantly longer than the rest of them) The plugs you need should be lying around somewhere close to the coin mechanism soo basically plug the ones you need up(not all of them have to be plugged in if i'm thinking correct) When you think you've got them in the right position close the machine and start playing as you would normally and see if it takes pounds in the hopper.

*If they all look to be plugged in then it's probably not the coin mechanism + i'm talking from a fruity point of view :p.

And about test mode, I don't do gameboxes:bigeyes20: butt try playing with the bottom(cash door) open and see if that lets you play for free or alternitevely have a look around inside your machine for a test mode button(most of the time reddy coloured)

Luke.

Here's a link to a previous thread in which I posted a manual for a 'who wants to be a millionaire' machine which is essentially the same thing. Just thought it might help :)
