Is there any way a member can turn these off from showing up in the 'new posts' section. I personally am finding it a bit annoying as it is also putting replies in and making the new posts section a few pages long in some cases.
If for instance I visit the other sites then I have already looked at these posts and it gets complicated. I notice the Fruit Forums one though appears to be broken.

Same here on Firefox can be quite annoying seeing x amount of new posts which aren't relevant to this site.
