Hi....just wanted to get some opinions on this...your in an arcade say..playing a fruity...and you rape it for 75-80 odd quid. :) you tae your winnings and move on to the machine next to it...someone comes up with a pocketful of change and starts playing the machine you just raped...do you say...."excuse me...i wouldnt bother with that machine...as i have just taken a healthy profit from it"...and risk them saying..."so...what dae ye want like....a blue peter badge??"...or say nothing..and think to yourself..well that machine screwed me last week for £XX...so its time it happened to someone else :? any views would be great..as i have been in the situation a few times :D not often enough though :( and sometimes i have said..and other times i havent
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

well me personally would say nothing unless it was a good friend of mine but theres been an odd time were ive creamed a machine told my mate not to play it then someone else comes along few quid in and drops the jackpot. an instant the other day i put 20.00 in a party time up i go 2 jps £25.00 3 £5.00 stopped then up it went again jp £25.00 and a £2.00 moved on to number 3 mate comes in sits down puts a quid in number 2 told him what i won so he left it. pensioner comes in puts about a fiver in £25.00 dropped straight in went up gave her another £32.00 what can you say but i got the feeling my mate thought i was lying. so now i say nothing.

I'd definitely say something, whether they want to take any notice is up to them. There's always the chance they won't believe you anyway. They might be thinking "He's just seen someone put a bomb in it and is waiting for me to leave it alone!".

Your just way too honest Duplu !

The only reason i stick with my policy now is simply because no bugger tells me when any machine has dropped

I don't know what this makes me sound like but i never tell people whats paid out simply cos no-one ever tells me and if they wanna chuck money into a dead machine then its worth letting 'em and trying to nick a coupla quid when they've done thier dough and gone...i know lurkers who sit in arcades watching the munters do thier dough, never spending a f***in penny...drinking free coffee...pretending their waiting for someone....chattin to the staff (who never throw them out...i wonder why?) and then jump on machines before the person who has done thier wedge is even out of the door...THIS MAKES ME SO f***IN ANGRY!!!

So if an opportunity presents itself i take it...

P.S. does this make me a bad person? 8O

I let them know that ive had a bit out of it, if i know them, otherwise i won't bother even looking in that direction. Like mentioned posts above it may still payout, why make urself noticed.

I once put over £100 into a poker machine and won nothing. Then the person next to me says, "You really shouldn't play that one mate, I took £150 out of it before you came in".......

I must says it was very helpfull to hear that imformation after you have already lost your money

I find the best tatic is to play the machine, if i empty it, great, leave straight away, if it kills me, nuts, leave straight away. That way never have the moral choices of do i tell the next person or not.
