Hi
I've got a side splitter machine 25p play £25 jackpot and need some help with setting the thing up.
Firstly there is only a few quid in the machine so i dump the hopper then dump it again so it knows its empty. The machine has a £125 float value with no money in the hopper it will happily offer me £15-£20 win on board when playing with loose change (dropping into the bottom).
What i dont understand is why it will keep giving money out with the hopper empty do i need to fill it with £125 to make it operate normally, i just thought i could start it empty and over time it will fill up with pound coins to a level of which it would start to pay out.
I think the person who ad it before me has been playing with the dip switches on the machine. It is fitted with a scorpion MPU 4
Any help will be grateful

A machine will still play and pay into the bank if the hopper is empty until you collect anything out the machine. Any chance of a picture of said machine please. Oh its scorpion 4 not scorpion mpu4 lol. Good luck with it tho I'm sure some one with more experience than me will be able to give better advice

Thats the machine i just thought with no money in it wouldnt pay out or let you win anything it give the jackpot and repeated on boad after putting only 50p in the machine so the only thing inside was the 50p coin in the bottom

The amount of £1 coins in the machine doesn't matter mate. What makes the machine decide whether to pay or not is the programme chips. They keep a running count of money in, and out. They also have instructions coded in to instruct the machine what to do at various points of the "gameplay" based on the value of money in and out.
So by the above logic it could be full to the brim with coins, but if the programme chips decide they are not ready to pay then it won't pay. If empty but the chips are happy, then it will try to pay anyway.
I'd recommend to float your machine with at least £50 and play it from there.

Ahhh i remember this one now, it was in the local pub in grimsby a few years back. I tried the roms but it has security which is strange for a mazooma s4 machine. As for the problems like i say im not a tech so know only what i have heared. There are plenty of tech on hear so I'm sure some will be able to answer your question.

No sadness with this one not being emulated mate, it's a pile of crap
If anyone wants to play it, try Mazooma's Big Blaster which is a precise clone.
