So, what do existing 20mb users get? Do they go up to 50mb?
I haven't received any letters about it.

Yeah..mentioned this a while ago as they are scrapping thier 2mb service alltogether..10mb will be the lowest speed possible on VM..come early May.
So what about the ones already on 10mb will they go up to 20mb ? doubt it very much.
They will have to crack some kinda deal though drop the monthly charge..cos surely you would just drop to the next package 2mb which is to become 10mb.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

fantastic considering i was contemplating 10mb!
I have telephoned Virgin, and asked them about the offer. They told me that because I am on 2MB at the moment, in May or June I shall automatically be upgraded to 10MB, but it is costing everyone £2 on their Virgin bills every month. They are, apparently, getting rid of their Medium broadband package. Also the TV package is going up £1.50 and they are going to start charging £1.25 for a paper bill.
So FREE! Hardly, it is costing me another £4.75 per month when the upgrades happen, and the woman I spoke to on the telephone assured me that this is happening to everyones' bill at the time of the upgrade - so we all have increases to look forward to!
They tempt you with these offers, but there is always something lurking around the corner with them! lol
All The Best

Sort of Geddy..they give you the 10mb when they feel like it.
Although in saying that..after my 5th complaint to them about it they have left me well alone for the time being at least.

well, its £1.25 for a paper bill, but £1 off for an internet bill, so basically the cost of going greener is 25p..

This paperless billing is bullshit though.
Think about it, when they recycle this paper it is used to make bog roll. So in a few years when no one is receiving any paper bills we will have nowt to wipe our arses on.

The way I heard it (on cablehell before they closed it), is 2mb goes to 10mb with no cost increase, and the 10mb stays as it is. The difference between the two price points is the cap limit. It will not move for the old 2mb customers, so will still only be 500mb before you hit it.
I also received an e-mail from Virgin with their increased pricing, but my M broadband will not be going up at all, so no idea where the £2 extra came from that CS quoted Daryl (but TV XL is going up and yes the paper bills as well).

Go on - blow it up. You know you want to
