The truth to this shit you post of course is really rather simple. At that time I was the only person
A. With dev tools (5.9) that was prepared to use them to make layouts for the scene.
B. Actively making and releasing layouts into the scene. I wasn't on Chris's side and did not claim to be. All I wanted to do was FME.
I recieved an enormous phone bill for internet use that I could not afford to pay and was absolutely skint. I asked for help. Sure, I might not have gone about it the right way but tbh it was absolutely no different to Dad asking for donations, Duplu asking for donations or Fruitforums telling it's members that they must donate or the site will be removed.
The fact that you mention it in such a spiteful manner depicts the kind of person you are.
Twice bitten - was MERC a good idea or did CW endorse it?
Excuse me? No idea what you are talking about there. Again at the time MERC was created there were no public dev tools. Infact, we were never going to get them (words from CW himself). So without them it's quite possible that CW would never have released an emulator with tools in. He did, about 8 months after MERC was written. Funny that.

Sixth time bitten - using said emulators to amass a hoard of layouts he later tried to sell for $500.
YAWN. There you go again with your false accusations. Firstly (as I have said about two thousand times) at first I was not sure how to go about it. However, due to the nature of the MPU5 leak (something you was heavily involved with, proof having been put forward) I was not prepared to give those layouts out for free. My reasons for doing so were absolutely nothing to do with you as they were my layouts. Because of your belligerent nature I won't even put forward those reasons.
However, I will say that the whole thing was done 'spur of the moment' and when I had time to think it over I decided a nice donation to a childrens charity seemed suitable. The bottom line is I did not take that money. So it doesn't matter what I said before because it didn't happen (as much as you'd have liked it to).
Any way, if it wasn't for you I would never have had the opportunity, so you're a fine one to talk.

Again you seem to have manipulated the situation for your own political gains.
I gave some (around 40) layouts to Duplu and said "here, use these on your site to pull in some donations" It was as simple as that. Websites don't run themselves for free and I know some of the personal information about what this site costs to run. I also know he's struggling with it somewhat as well he should be (knowing the actual situation of course).
But of course, the reason you took issue with that has nothing to do with anything apart from the fact it was me who made those layouts.

Nice bend Beckham ! I asked for my layout to be removed. Not anywhere did I ever mention closing the site down. As for getting my own way? seems you are the one who has spoiled himself with that luxury over the years. You've always had a place to spout your trivial tripe and Dad's has been no exception. As I said before, if the layout had just simply been hosted there I would have taken hardly any issue. However, it wasn't simply hosted was it? it was posted with a load more shit aimed toward me.

Firstly I made no reference AT ALL to the use of violence. But nice try Becks, that one's shot wide of the goal. The closure of DIF was because of what Harvey said in his post. Nothing more, nothing less. Nowhere in that post did he say it was because of me or my fault. On the contrary, he said it was because of things he had done wrong and was his fault.
So there you have it. Again trying to twist fact into something it isn't.
