Well I've decided to sign up, to see what it's all about...If i'm not accepted then oh well too bad, If I am then I'll be happy:)
Still interested in something I think you have done Jimmy...Making new samples for sound ROMs? Did you do that? You might have sent me a PM about it a long time ago and elsewhere but I've gone and lost it lol, would be nice to give some machines a Happy Hardcore makeover:)

Would be reasonably easy if you were a trained programmer. The ROM instructions for sounds and gameplay are really fairly straightforward in general. The sound ROMs are just instructions for the sound card so if you knew what you were doing, you could probably make the machine do just about anything.

I'm thinking about adding the sound of someone scraping their finger nails down a blackboard for the feature music on DOND The Dream Factory myself.

Just saw this, and I though it is worth a cross forum question if you like. Surely this is not happening, and is just another lie from FW?

I would like to know if this is breaking the rules of this site regarding the quote below. Is this even suppose to be going on, doesn't seem right to me....So does this break the rules you yourself set up here?

Yes I totally agree with you £6IT. I am sure when I signed up to this forum I was not giving the hosts permission to share my details with another forum.

Not one to really get involved in this argument, as I dont really know what it is about nor do I care.

But what is the sign up process, is their a period you have to wait before acceptance? I signed up last night but havent heard anything as yet. Can I take that as being denied?

Well it looks for certain IP etc information has been given to AT from this site. I have knowledge of such an instance. Like I said before this is very serious IMO.

When I signed up here I expected my confidential information to be kept that way. Very disappointed.

Utter rubbish. Any user can be checked for their existence on this site via the members list. I, and to my knowledge none of the moderators have passed out any user information to anyone.

Mr FW is entitled to post what ever he wants, it doesn't make it true. I was asked if I knew a couple of usernames on FE, which as I said earlier can be easily viewed in the members list.

Only partially true, as I've said. FW asked who some members were, in terms of their activities on FE.

As usual something in FME land blown out of all proportion and suddenly it's a crisis and I've sold all your personal details to the devil.

For one, I don't have any of your personal details other than an e-mail address. An IP address alone does not constitute personal information under the Data Protection Act.

I don't understand why people don't just stick to the forums they enjoy. If FW doesn't want someone on his forum then that is his decision and his alone. Yes, it might not be the norm for FME sites but it is his forum.

Duplu I think you do a fantastic job here, no question about that. I'm sure that goes for 99% of the membership here - Long may that continue.

But you can see how this has upset a few (no I know for a fact - A lot) of members. This may use the same host, but this is a separate site, and I still don't think that any information whatsoever should be transferred to anyone, no matter who they are.

Finally I don't think Mr Fruitworkz did you any favors putting that quote about on a FME related site. I cross referenced it to this site because it needed to be shown, as it was relating to FE members.
