'tis a long time since I have seen an impact machine, does the power supply have lights next to the fuses, if so are they all coming on. If they are is there an alternative slot on the main board for the program card?

if the battery has leaked then its probably taken a component out on the processor card.

best thing to do is source a replacement processor card and just swap it.
